Danaos gains ballast for new ships with restructured debt
Greek shipping company Danaos Corp has agreed an amendment of its existing credit facilities and a new line of $426m after all of its 14 lenders agreed to its debt restructuring proposals. The new debt financing will be arranged with the company’s existing bank lenders and will be used to back the firm’s new building order book.
