Sberbank looks to play a bigger syndication role in 2011

Sberbank, Russia’s biggest bank, is set to play a bigger role in syndicated lending in 2011, according to Yuri Korsun, head of syndication. In December, the bank joined a Sfr2bn ($2.05bn) loan for Russian investment company Renova as an MLA, and Sberbank intends to expand its work with international banks.
