Consulting firm Johnson Associates predicted that bonuses for derivatives traders would increase by up to 50-60% from 2008 (DW 11/05/09). [Headhunters note, however, that bonuses for derivative traders in 2010, particularly those working in equity derivatives, will decline on last year's figures. They cite falling revenues in that area from a number of firms over the last few quarters as the reason for the decline in bonus payouts.]
