Volcker Won’t Apply To Non-U.S. Units Of Foreign Banks

Former Federal Reserve Chairman Paul Volcker said the proposed ban of proprietary trading named after him would not apply to units of foreign banks that operate outside the U.S., adding that such banks operating in the U.S. are already barred from engaging in proprietary trading.
