Advisor Settles SEC Charges Over CDOs
New York-based ICP Asset Management has agreed to pay more than USD23 million to settle charges brought by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission that the investment advisor and its president Thomas Prior allegedly engaged in practices that caused several collateralized debt obligations they managed to overpay for securities and lose millions of dollars.
