Tracy Kivunyu has been appointed senior equity research analyst for telecoms across frontier markets and will be based in Kenya. Kivunyu was previously at African Alliance as equity analyst.
Waseem Khan has been hired as equity research analyst for financial companies in Bangladesh. Khan was previously at BRAC EPL where he focused on banks, non-bank financial institutions and mobile financial services.
And Bansi Jashapara was brought on as head of EMEA sales for research, analytics and data. He was formerly head of research sales for SLJ Macro. Jashapara started out in emerging markets structuring at HSBC.

Exotix has been on a hiring spree since setting up its research, analytics and data division in June.
The hires add to six people that joined the team over the last three months: senior economist Christopher Dielmann, from the IMF; Latin America specialist Rafael Elias; Middle East and North Africa banks expert Temitope Ode; equity research analyst Rohit Kumar; Vietnam analyst Phuong Pham and East Africa financials researcher Faith Mwangi.
