Jefferies hires McCann for lev fin and Biala for CLO trading

Jefferies has hired John McCann as a managing director for leveraged finance origination, and Erez Biala as a managing director and global co-head of CLO and CDO trading, both of which are new positions.

McCann joins from HSBC, where he worked for 14 years, most recently as a managing director in the leveraged and acquisition finance group. He has already started at Jefferies.

Biala comes from Barclays Capital, where he worked on the distressed special situation team. He started work on August 2.
