Gazprombank mulls underwritten loan as banks flock to it

Gazprombank, fresh from tapping the Eurobond market last week, is set to decide soon whether or not it will syndicate a loan of up $500m.

The borrower, Russia’s third biggest bank by assets, approached banks a few weeks ago about the loan and has received a strong response, having asked them to commit $75m on a take and hold basis.
