VEB leans on relationship banks to price inside Sber, Gazprombank

Russia’s Vnesheconombank (VEB) has shaved 5bp off the amount its peers paid for loans to sign an oversubscribed $800m three year club deal at 185bp all-in.

Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, Barclays, BNP Paribas, Citi, Commerzbank, Crédit Agricole, Deutsche Bank, HSBC, ING, JP Morgan and Mizuho made up the bookrunner group. Société Générale and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corp were arrangers.

The term loan was launched at $750m. It will be used for refinancing.
