Kronospan awaits EBRD decision on loan

Russian industrial firm Kronospan Bashkortostan has approached the development bank market for a €90m loan.

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is considering the deal. If it goes ahead, the EBRD will structure the loan as an ‘A/B’ facility, with the larger ‘B’ portion syndicated out to commercial banks. The ‘A’ portion will stay on the EBRD’s books.
