Bakkavor resurrects IPO, gets £1bn valuation

Bakkavor, the UK fresh food company, has completed its £260m IPO on the London Stock Exchange, a week after it withdrew the deal, blaming poor market conditions.

The deal has been priced at 180p a share, a 7.5% price cut from the bottom of the initial range, valuing Bakkavor at just over £1bn. The enterprise value is around 8 times Bakkavor's 2018 Ebitda and the dividend yield is 3.6%. The price/earnings multiple is 11.1.
