EP Energy, the Czech energy business, hopes to sell a benchmark senior secured bond today. The company is planning to only issue five year bullet bonds, rather than five and eight year notes, after investors indicated they preferred one larger tranche.

Unitymedia, the German cable business, plans to sell its second high yield bond this year. The company, owned by US investment group Liberty Global, aims to raise €350m of 10 year senior secured bonds.
