Continental, the German tyres and car parts maker, nearly doubled its planned dollar high yield debut to raise $950m on Wednesday.

Dixons Retail, the UK electronics shop chain, sold a £150m five year bond on Tuesday, after less than two days of marketing. The bonds came with an 8.75% coupon to yield 9%, in line with 9% area guidance.
