Chinese technology firm Tencent launched its first dual tranche transaction on Tuesday morning. The issue follows the establishment of a new $5bn GMTN programme by the issuer last month and is likely to raise more than $1bn sets its sights on the US investor base.

Poly Real Estate Group priced a $500m five year bond on Wednesday night against negative headlines about the Chinese property sector. Although the transaction wasn't able to tighten as aggressively as other deals that were in the market this week, the issuer's SOE status provided reassurance to investors and the trade came comfortably comparables.

Aluminum Corporation of China last week raised $400m with its second dollar perpetual bond. The deal was increased from a $200m-$300m target as investors responded enthusiastically to the bond’s shorter call date.
