  • China Power International Development returned to the dim sum market on Tuesday with a Rmb2bn ($324m) three year issue. It is the company’s first offshore renminbi transaction since it debuted with an Rmb800m five year bond in 2010.
  • CLP Power received a strong following from institutional investors for a hybrid perpetual non call 5.5 year bond that priced on Tuesday night. The trade was intended to strengthen the issuer’s balance sheet following the announcement of big acquisitions at the end of last year.
  • Lenovo's lack of a rating is not putting investors off the new five year bond that it kicked off on Tuesday, although bankers reckon that the issuer will have to pay up a little.
