  • Sinochem unleashed another bond into the market less than two weeks after it raised $500m with a five year issue. This time, the Chinese state owned conglomerate is offering its sophomore dim sum with a three year transaction.
  • Bank of China Aviation printed a five year bond on Wednesday night as the issuer looks to solidify its presence in the market after it more than doubled the size of its EMTN programme last month.
  • China Overseas Land and Investment (COLI) defied the headwinds buffeting the Chinese property sector to execute a dual tranche transaction on Wednesday night. The investment grade real estate developer was able to raise $1bn, but it had to pay a 20bp new issue premium.
  • China Chengtong Development Group this week priced the first ever dim sum bond to use an RMB-denominated standby letter of credit (SBLC). The three year deal priced on Wednesday night at 4% with a size of Rmb600m ($96m). Agricultural Bank of China (ABC) provided the SBLC via its Beijing branch.
  • China National Petroleum Corporation is set to unleash a multibillion multi tranche dollar transaction into the market next week, after mammoth transactions from industry peers Sinopec and China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) last month.
  • BOC Aviation released guidance on a new five year bond on Wednesday April 30. The issuer was last seen in the dollar market in April 2013 when it issued a $350m 4.375% 10 year. In May it issued a tap of this bond to raise $150m.
