Citigroup's Melinda Weir, managing director, is set to head to London in April to take a newly created position in charge of European loan sales. As first reported on CIN's Web site last Thursday, she will be reporting to Richard Basham, managing director. She will not be replaced in the U.S. where she is also in loan sales. Rather her accounts will be covered by other members of the desk. A Citigroup spokeswoman confirmed the move. Weir declined comment.
