Kevin Robik, head of structured equity products for Bear Stearns, has left the firm to launch his own hedge fund. Robik, who was with Bear Stearns for 14 years, is said to be launching a long/short equity fund. Renu Albrich, a Bear Stearns spokeswoman, said Robik has not yet been replaced. Robik could not be reached for comment.
