Eu23bn jumbo for Enel launched

Italian utility Enel has launched general syndication of its Eu23bn acquisition facility via Banco Santander Central Hispano, Intesa Sanpaolo, Mediobanca, UBS and UniCredit.

The bookrunners had considered cancelling the final stage of syndication given the success of the sub-underwriting phase and Enel’s bond issuances since the summer.
