UPDATE: Parex keeps talking, no extension agreement reached

Parex banka has reiterated that no settlement has yet been reached with its lenders about the extension of its syndicated loans despite conflicting reports in the Latvian press today.

The bank, which has an outstanding Eu275m syndicated loan set to mature at the end of February, is yet to reach an agreement with lenders about whether or not it will be granted an extension.
