Nokia Siemens launches general after five join in senior

Nokia Siemens Networks, the telecoms equipment group, has launched general syndication of its Eu1.5bn loan after successfully closing the senior phase last week. A bank meeting was held on Tuesday in Helsinki.

Five banks joined BNP Paribas and Nordea, the coordinators, during the first stage of syndication. Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Barclays Capital, Calyon, Citi and Société Générale each committed about Eu150m, joining the deal as mandated lead arrangers.
