Eleven join BSkyB’s £750m FSF

BSkyB became the latest UK borrower to secure a forward start when it signed its £750m facility at the end of last week. The satellite broadcaster, rated Baa1/BBB/BBB, extended for two years part of a £1bn revolver maturing in July 2010.

Eleven lenders committed to the forward start, although not all the 19 banks on the original syndicate were invited. Barclays Capital was the coordinator.

The forward start for BSkyB was first mooted in March, and was originally closer to £600m.
