Spreads to gap out in September? EuroWeek readers fear FIG sell-off

A large majority of market participants fear that the recent strong performance of the financial institutions bond market might not last beyond the summer despite the stunning order books and spread tightening the sector is currently enjoying.

Only 9% of EuroWeek readers polled said that they thought that financial institutions are currently a good place to invest and that bank results showed that things were improving.
