Shearman & Sterling makes French levfin hire

Linklaters finance partner Arnaud Fromion has joined rival Shearman & Sterling as a partner to capitalise on what the law firm sees as “growing opportunities in the leveraged finance markets”.

Fromion, who had been at Linklaters since 2001, has experience working with banks, mezzanine funds and borrowers on structured finance and syndicated loan deals, mostly for leveraged and acquisition deals.

He will join Shearman’s bank finance team, which is led by Pierre-Nicolas Ferrand, head of the bank finance group ...
