Babson launches combined high yield, leveraged loan fund

Babson Capital Europe has launched a multi-asset class global speculative grade fund, having managed segregated multi-credit accounts for investors for around a year. The Global High Yield Credit Opportunity Fund was launched last week and is open-ended.

The fund has so far raised $100m, which will be invested across the leveraged loan and high yield bond markets, with opportunistic allocations to the CLO market as well as to stressed and distressed debt.
