Taylor Wimpey refis early with five year loan

UK housebuilder Taylor Wimpey has signed a £550m five year facility to refinance bank debt 15 months early.

The firm signed its new loan on Monday, refinancing a £600m undrawn credit line that was due to mature in November 2014.

Barclays, HSBC, Lloyds and Royal Bank of Scotland were bookrunners on the original deal. BNP Paribas, JP Morgan and Santander joined as mandated lead arrangers.
