Petronas follows sovereign for $3bn

Malaysian oil company Petroliam Nasional (Petronas) raised $3bn from a dual tranche bond, just a day after the country’s sovereign made its dollar return.

The Malaysian government sold a dual tranche sukuk on Wednesday, one portion of which was marketed as a sustainability trade. The transaction, which was the country's first since 2016, raised $1.3bn.
