Singapore’s stock exchange has launched a consultation about proposed rules on special purpose acquisition companies.

Asia-based Spacs, also known as blank cheque companies, have seen a surge in popularity in 2021. But with the US as the predominant listing destination for Spacs, executives at regional bourses are still working to increase their share of the deal flow.
