Poland’s Play breathes life into CEE syndicated loan market

Play, the Polish mobile network operator, has raised a syndicated loan from European banks, according to sources, while total volumes from central and eastern Europe’s biggest economies have been low so far this year.

The Z5.5bn (€1.2bn) loan consists of a Z3.5bn term loan with a tenor of five years and a Z2bn revolving three year facility. The revolver can be extended or converted into a term loan.
