Zambia-IMF talks resume as defaulted sov continues on path to financial stability

Zambia and the IMF will resume negotiations on an extended credit facility package, having missed the first deadline.

Virtual discussions will resume on Tuesday March 30 and continue until mid-April, it was announced on Friday, with the aim of formulating a policy reform agenda to address the country's economic challenges and help it return to a "sustainable macro-fiscal situation over the medium-term".
