Denmark’s NKT launches rights issue

NKT, a Danish industrial conglomerate in the power cables industry, has launched a Dkr1.3bn ($208m) rights issue to shore up its financial footing in order to meet orders and to withstand the pressures of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Danske Bank, JP Morgan and Nordea are the bookrunners on the three for one rights issue. Shares will be offered at Dkr122 a share, a 39.6% discount to the theoretical e-rights price of Dkr201.95.

The company will sell 10.74m new shares.
