Ex-finmins of Paraguay, Ecuador confirmed at IADB

The Inter-American Development Bank’s board of directors on Friday appointed the executive team that will serve under recently installed president Mauricio Claver-Carone, with former finance ministers of Paraguay and Ecuador taking key roles.

In October, Richard Martínez of Ecuador and Benigno López of Paraguay had left their ministerial positions with the expectations that they would land in Washington, DC and provide greater representation for Latin America’s smaller nations at the multilateral lender.
