Moody’s warns Commerz over lower issuance volumes

Moody’s has changed its outlook for Commerzbank’s issuer rating to ‘negative’ over concerns about a reduction in the bank’s senior debt levels.

The rating agency confirmed the German bank would still be rated ‘A1’ at the senior issuer level. 

But the firm will now be on a negative outlook for a downgrade, rather than remaining on a stable outlook.
