Robi Axiata gets nod for record Bangladeshi IPO

Telecom operator Robi Axiata has won approval from Bangladesh’s securities regulator to list for Taka5.2bn ($61.9m), making it the country’s largest IPO.


The Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) gave Robi the greenlight at a meeting on Wednesday to float 523.8m primary shares, equal to 10% of its enlarged share capital.
