EFSF pulls off tight €4bn

The European Financial Stability Facility kicked off its third quarter funding in style this week as it raised 80% of the total with a well-subscribed five year bond.

“It’s a very strong market just now,” said a banker away from the trade. “We’ve seen a lot of stuff hitting the longer end but the short end has been rather undersupplied, so there are good opportunities there.”
