European banks find favour in busy dollar market

European banks joined a flurry of US corporates in the dollar bond market this week, capitalising on favourable conditions to issue deals in large sizes and at negative new issue premiums.

There has been relatively little activity from European lenders in dollars in recent weeks, with many issuers focusing their attention on euros instead.
