Britvic opens lid on sustainability financing

UK soft drinks maker Britvic has signed its first sustainability-linked financing, joining a growing trend of companies offering to charity any margin benefit they gain on the loans hitting targets.

The borrower has signed a £400m five year facility. The deal comes with two one-year extension options.

Rabobank coordinated the deal, with the final group made up of seven lenders. The leading UK banks, along with Santander and BNP Paribas, have all been lenders to Britvic in the past, ...
