SocGen picks Axa veteran as new Apac CEO

Gaëlle Olivier is set to take over as the chief executive officer for Société Générale Asia Pacific in January next year, succeeding Hikaru Ogata who is leaving the bank.

Olivier’s appointment will come into effect on January 2, 2020, and is pending regulatory approvals, according to a Wednesday press release. Hong Kong-based Olivier will report to the French bank’s deputy CEO, Séverin Cabannes.
