Australian medical centre operator Sonic Healthcare has raised $550m of US private placements (PPs) across three tranches, as Australian borrowers solidify their position as a key source of growth for the market.
Investors bought a $300m 10 year tranche, a $150m 12 year note and a $100m 15 year. According to the company, the weighted average coupon is 3.07%. They were sold largely to US institutional investors, according to one person familiar with the deal.
