Pershing Square nabs $400m in bond private placement

Bill Ackman’s hedge fund management company Pershing Square Holdings has sold $400m worth of 20 year bonds to Guggenheim Partners Investment Management.


The unsecured bonds, which are set to mature in 2039, pay a coupon of 4.95%. The transaction is set to close on or around July 25, and the paper will be issued to institutional accounts managed by global asset manager Guggenheim.
