TriOptima cuts down Eurex exposure with record compression

TriOptima claims it has reduced notional outstanding at Eurex Clearing by 26%, following a record compression run last month.

The CME-owned infrastructure provider said the latest run equated to $3.9tr of cleared euro interest rate swaps and forward rate agreements. It took place on June 26 and represents a 143% increase on the previous record of $1.6tr.
