HSBC picks new equity-linked head

HSBC has chosen its new convertible bonds boss in EMEA from its own ranks, according to a source familiar with the matter.

Ilyas Amlani, a director, has been promoted to become HSBC's head of EMEA equity-linked. He will continue to be based in London. 

Amlani has been at HSBC for more than five years, he joined from RBS in 2013.
