The London Metal Exchange (LME) has launched a market-wide consultation on proposed rules on responsible sourcing principles for all LME-listed brands.

The consultation comes amid global scrutiny over the responsible sourcing of raw materials, as environmental, social and governance (ESG) considerations gain traction in financial markets.
