HSBC banking exec to retire

David Morton, the former head of corporates, financials and multinational banking (CFMB) at HSBC, has announced his retirement.

Morton left the bank for a six month sabbatical in September, but recently announced on LinkedIn that instead of returning to HSBC at the end of his break, he will be taking an early retirement to spend more time with family in Australia.
