BNG increases funding target

Bank Nederlandse Gemeenten has increased its total funding requirement for the year as it prepares for the second half of 2018.

The agency is aiming to raise an extra €1bn, taking its total funding requirement for 2018 to €18.5bn-€19bn, compared to its previous target of €17.5bn-€18bn.

The extra funding requirement is due to increased activities from BNG’s domestic public sector clients, according to a funding official at the agency.
