Carlyle cashes in $152m PNB Housing stake after rally

Carlyle raked in Rp10.2bn ($151.5m) from an overnight sale of some of its shares in Indian mortgage lender PNB Housing Finance on Tuesday.

The private equity fund launched the accelerated bookbuild after the market close on Monday evening to sell 8m secondary shares, or 4.8% of PNB Housing’s equity base. 

Carlyle offered the shares in PNB Housing, a unit of state-owned Punjab National Bank, at a floor price of Rp1,280 each. ...
