BoCom seeks $500m club financing through Macau unit

China’s Bank of Communications is eyeing a club-style loan to raise up to $500m through its Macau branch, tapping one firm as the sole lead of the fundraising.

HSBC is the mandated lead arranger and bookrunner on the transaction, which is split into two tranches, said a banker who was invited to participate. The facility has an initial size of $300m, which can be increased to $500m through a greenshoe.
