Middle East private loans could be in vogue as sovereign deals dip

Emerging market loan bankers may have to look to the private sector for deals as sovereign entities in the Middle East take a step back from the loan market.

At the Loan Market Association syndicated loan conference on Tuesday, Raouf Jundi, head of origination at MUFG, spoke about the shift in loan issuance from the public to the private sector in the Middle East.
