Agrokor gets new €400m loan but Sberbank fights it

Agrokor has signed a new €400m facility with Knighthead Capital Management and Zagrebačka banka, UniCredit’s Croatian subsidiary, to enable it to keep operating.

Agrokor’s council of creditors, which includes representatives of its suppliers, bondholders and creditors, met on Thursday and gave their approval for the new loan, to add to the €80m the defaulting Croatian retailer borrowed in April.
