VietJet closes biggest Vietnam IPO with $167m in the bag

VietJet Aviation sealed Vietnam’s largest IPO this week, pricing the D3.79tr ($167m) trade in the lower half of expectations and becoming a rare bright spot in an otherwise patchy market for stock sales.

The budget airline sold 44.8m shares at D84,600 apiece, 61% down the indicative range of D75,900-D98,400. The float is 14% of its enlarged share capital.
